FR Art Loves Series: Photographers
An art piece can make or break a room. It can set the tone or surprise us with striking a different tone in a completely different way. We all want to find art that not only enhances the space it inhabits but might also spark a conversation, sometimes commanding a room and sometimes, offering a whisper that invokes just enough curiosity.
In this series, “FR Art Loves” we will look at some of our favorite artists in various media. We start with our photography picks:
PHOTOGRAPHERS
Jin-Woo Prensena
The work of L.A.-based photographer and celeb fave (Jennifer Garner, Chelsea Handler, Jessica Alba, Ben Stiller) Jin-Woo Prensena has been featured on the cover of National Geographic Traveler and across Architectural Digest, CNN Travel, Saatchi Art, and The Wall Street Journal. And soon, the piece below will feature prominently in our upcoming Napa Neue project. We love his abstract-like landscapes best, but be sure to check out his stunning global destination aerial photography, too.
petros koublis
N.Y.C.-based fine art photographer Petros Koublis is able to capture such magical images that we are transported to another time, space, place…dreamscape? We’re not really sure but they are an escape to where nature, texture, and painterly palette gracefully meet. Even his IG account will provide your feed with a much-needed reality check-out.
G. Moulin
Paris-born and South Africa-raised photographer G. Moulin has lived and traveled the world, giving us a glimpse into moments near and far. One such close-to-home moment: our Napa Neue clients fell in love with his White Barn image, as they both grew up not too far from where this image was taken. Most of his collections are in black and white, providing a journalistic quality to his captures.
Whether you’re in the market to make a statement or set a mood, there’s a ton of talent here to grab a second glance and punctuate any space in your home.
Next up in the series: painters! Stay tuned…
