2024 Year in review
1. Healdsburg Modern / Install and Shoot
After a very long multiyear build with delays, it’s hard to believe this project was 7 years + in the making! We couldn’t have been more excited to photograph the completed spaces in January of 2024. I’ve included a few favorites below, which were also published in Sonoma Magazine.
2. FR Studio Move
I stumbled upon this adorable 1900s Victorian while driving down Broadway one day, saw a for rent sign, slammed on my brakes, and decided that was our new office. After being in a huge 3,000 square foot office and warehouse for almost 8 years, we had piles of inventory to sell and donate - the big purge felt so good. The team and I couldn’t be happier with our new space.
3. SF Color Pop / Install and Shoot
This project was a fun experience, as it pushed us out of our neutral colors comfort zone. Through adding more color and playful touches, we merged the client’s goals with our signature look. The clients rented a home down the street during the construction process, and with three very active kids, were eager to get back into their space! We wrapped up in the spring and were able to pop back in for a few days over the summer to style the spaces and capture this wonderful space.
4. Family Trip to Hawaii and Hawaii Traditional Site Visit
After spending almost a year working on our Hawaii project remotely, I was so excited to finally fly out and meet our client in person. We LOVE Hawaii so much but had never been to the Big Island. It’s incredible - arriving from Maui, you fly over volcanos and lava fields which are truly unreal. The trip was endlessly inspiring, and it was amazing to imagine how that kitchen (with incredible views) will eventually turn out.
5. Milieu Press Feature
This was a career pinch me moment! Milieu is a Favorite publication of mine, as every issue is so handsome and well written. The feature turned out beautifully and it felt incredible to have our team’s work acknowledged in print.
